Both After School Programs, one in Richmond and one in Concord, offer support for families by: providing a safe and supportive environment for students after the school day, offering all-day services during school recesses, assisting participating students work on identified goals both educational and personal, providing fun activities on-site and in the community, employing teachers with early childhood education credits.

Support and guidance from peers with first-hand experience
Care Parent Network (CPN) provides parent-to-parent support and resources for families with children who have special needs. CPN provides emotional support, information, training, resources, and help navigating the service systems. This is a one-stop family resource center serving families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. CPN was created to help families meet the unique challenges of parenting a child with special needs. Their expertise derives from the fact all CPN staff are parents with children with special needs themselves.
